Writing Projects Aplenty in FreelancerCareers.com
Reston, Virginia - July 27 - Clarisse Evelyn Lively, the Marketing Officer of FreelancerCareers.com, has good news for struggling freelancers: there are lots of freelance writing opportunities for its team of writers.
Miss Lively cited three reasons why the company is doing good. A wide network of clients from all over the USA and the world. Their clients come from different industries. Their terms and arrangements, which wouldn't make the freelancers' life complicated.
“It takes a lot of resourcefulness in able to succeed in the freelancing business, but it's sometimes not enough. Luck can play a part,” she said. “FreelancerCareers take care of those things. The only thing that freelancers need to worry is to come up with high-quality papers for our clients,” she added.
She stressed one important information in the site, which is there's no membership fee. So there's no reason for writers to be hesitant after reading the terms and arrangements. Furthermore, the information in the site is sufficient enough for freelancers to know what to expect once they accept a writing project.
With the recession still besetting the country, freelancers must find ways to keep the paychecks coming. FreelancerCareers.com is one option - and a good one that is.

FreelancerCareers.com
Those of you who have expressed interest in doing some sort of freelance writing, be advised that Freelancer Careers (www.freelancercareers.com) is a company to AVOID.
FLC is also known as Uniwork, and is a division of Universal Research. UR is a dummy corporation with ties to everything from academic writing to pornography to special TV gadget promotions.
FLC/Uniwork/Universal Research has had 13 complaints filed against it with the Better Business Bureau THIS YEAR ALONE. At least 4 of the complaints centered around non-payment issues that to date have not been resolved. In some cases, the company never responded to the complaints.
The company also claims on its website to be a member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches. I researched the databases of the organizations underneath the PARWCC umbrella, and neither FLC nor its parent company are listed as current members. Furthermore, I received an email from the PARWCC president himself, who verified that FLC/Universal Research is not, and has never been, a member of PARWCC.
If the system at Freelancercareers ran as it appears to be set up, there would be no competition for FLC, as it looks easy and beautiful. The reality of it is, the site is poorly managed, your statistics are never right, and you are never paid on the date you are supposed to be paid (it is always like 3 days later). Not to mention that the clients are absolutely HORRIBLE to work for, as they are allowed to change anything mid stream and you are expected to know what the changes are even if they never tell you, and you're penalized if you don't know them.
FLC boasts having over 20,000 "registered active writers", but at any given time you will find an average of 30 writers online. I've never seen more than 50 online at any time, ever. Again, they also have different companies doing the same thing. If your business is legitimate, why do you need 2-3 different companies doing the exact same thing?
Bottom line is, if you work for FLC, you are working for an organization that is at best a misrepresentation, and at worst, a fraud. Steer clear of them, whatever you do.
