D'Artagnan and the musketeers from Dumas's novel have been delighting readers world-wide for more than a century.

In recent times, this classic tale has come alive on the world's varied stages. Sometimes, it is in the form of an exciting musical (as in Ken Lidwig's adaptation); sometimes, as a dramatic comedy (Peter Raby's version is a favorite of Shakespeare company's summer shows); and sometimes - right now, in fact, at City Lights of San Jose - as a sparkling and very loose "postmodern" version, adapted by Kit Wilder.

TGKids (the TheaterGames Middle Group) presents The Queen's Diamonds. Based on one of the many storylines in Dumas's timeless The Three Musketeers (adapted for the stage by Michael Bartenev and tailored to teen actors and audiences by Elene Tverskoy and Masha Farber), it is a tale of heroism, love, treachery, friendship, and, above all, honor.

We hope you'll join us on June 14th, at 7pm, at Cubberly Auditorium, in Palo Alto. Tickets are $20; for information 650-559-9505 and 650-964-6838 or see www.theatergames.org
